Fix

There are people in this world that are actually suffering. No, they will not call for help every single time, no they do not always reach out and ask for comfort, but it doesn’t mean they do not exist. You can’t fix something big without tweaking the little pieces or it will just break again. You keep trying to edit the whole picture, without realizing that you have to start with the tiniest shatters of a problem amidst those who seem unimportant to you.

  3. I've been alive (this time around) 46 years, and I didn't have even an inkling of the importance of working with the shards, addressing the little pieces, until very recently. Would have been nice if you could have been before me Zoe--would have saved me some time and energy. Anyway, how empowering it is one one begins to get the impact of working from where you are, with the people who are already in your life and in your community rather than trying to deal in the abstract, at the macro level, with whatever issue . . . : ) Cheers
